With over 35 years in the hospitality industry, one thing I have learned is how to serve. And I currently love serving as the Director of Operations at Faith! I have lived and worked in many areas of the country, but coming to Faith was like coming home. I grew up in this church, we only lived two blocks away, and it has always been my home church. Working here allows me to use all of my talents. One minute I may be creating payroll, the next designing a bulletin, but every minute is doing something that I enjoy. I graduated from UW-Whitewater with an accounting degree and somehow ended up in the restaurant business...I think it has something to do with the fact that I love to eat (just like the pastor!)
I was married and widowed at an early age, but then I met my husband, Rick and we celebrate each day that the Lord brought us together. We have a chocolate Labrador named Bronx, who definitely is a mommy's boy. I think I work just to keep him in dog treats. I love to read, cook, eat, decorate, eat (did I say that?) and shop! My family is precious to me and I try to spend as much time with them as possible.
I once received a plaque from my sister, it reads..."It's a rare person who can take care of business while also taking care of hearts" That's what I hope to do every day at Faith.
